  While it's typical for a pharmacy to need 15-45min to fill a RX Bartell's somehow operates in an alternative universe where it's common practice to quote 4hrs+ for a simple refill. Again, this is not the exception with Bartell's but the norm. I understand how sensitive pharmacy tech's are about the time needed to fill a script but let's be real, you're taking pills from a larger bottle and putting them in a smaller bottle. I commonly hear "yes, but there are a lot of other customers we have to fill as well". While this may very well be a true statement it's also true at McDonald's and I'd argue it's more complex putting together a Big Mac combo meal than putting pills in a bottle, yet I don't recall ever sitting in the McDonald's drive thru for 4+hrs. In short, do yourself a huge favor and take your money to RiteAid where they'll gladly fill your prescription in a fraction of the time at a fraction of the cost all without the patronizing attitude that is prevalent with Bartell pharmacy staff.
